evelopment of the AIR-4. Minor modification were introduced to satisfy VVS requirements - struts rearranged, low pressure tires installed. Tried with several engines. M-23 was rejected for irreducible vibrations, 60hp 'Walter' and 85hp 'Siemens' were fitted.
AIR-8 was evaluated by NII GVF in 1934, but military did not see serious applications for the aircraft.
