einkel HD 37, single-seat biplane fighter. The HD 37 was not accepted by the clandestine German air force, but the USSR bought a small number (3?) and a licence. The idea was to replace aging I-5 until more advanced domestic designs will be ready.
134 were built in the USSR as the I-7 since 1932, with some technological improvements. Despite expectations, aircraft failed to demonstrate substantial advantages over the I-5. Plus it came 2 years late. Once the I-15 became available in 1934, I-7 production was cancelled.
The BMW VI engine was produced in the USSR as the M-17.
