ong range escort fighter (so DIS), development of Pe-2I aircraft. Crew of two occupied single cabin, navigator seated behind the pilot. DIS differed from other similar project by incredibly powerful armament:
  • pair of B-20 cannons in the nose;
  • pair of heavy NS-37 or NS-45 under fuselage;
  • pair of defensive B-20 cannons;
    Total one second salvo was 11 to 14kg, depending on the configuration.
    Aircraft was flown in the end of 1945. No production
